Written between 2016 and 2018, during a period of personal change, ‘YOUTH’ encompasses the feeling of closure and a new beginning at the same time. It is dedicated to ephemeral experiences, which although fleeting in their character, can instill enduring changes of perception in their effect.

Musically, the record is a cheeky affair. Opening with the atmospheric track, “Without,” Svetnik slips into hints of acid and Detroit electro, before moving into fields rife with R&B and G-Funk influences. ‘YOUTH’ is a considered culmination of styles, accentuated by Svetnik's own vocals, and clear musical direction.
